A meal that requires no cooking skills (apart from cooking rice), hardly any time, and is the perfect mid week, emergency meal that is still full of goodness.
Ingredients:
Bone broth in can or jar, such as Nutra Organics Bone Broth Powder.
Sauerkraut
Rice
Good fish salmon, tuna or sardines
Salad such as herbs, lettuce, rocket, cucumber, tomato, beetroot, spinach ect
Gevity mayonnaise
Olive oil, salt and pepper (optional)
Apple cider vinegar or lemon
Method:
Place the desired amount of rice in a pan or rice cooker and add water, plus the recommended dose of bone broth to water ratio. Cook rice until done.
While rice is cooking, chop or grate salad items.
Place rice into a bowl. Add salad (aim for half the bowl to be full of salad). Top with a few tablespoons worth of sauerkraut, a serve of the salmon, tuna or sardines and a dollop of Gevity mayonnaise. Drizzle over the olive oil, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice and sprinkle salt and pepper.
Easy peasy!
